A single sane voice in the lamestream media? As early as 2010, msnbc‘s Rachel Maddow has been asking the seemingly obvious questions no one else wants to ask. 

Maddow followed up this initial piece on fracking with a post on The Maddow Blog by Jamil Smith, Hulk Like Fracking Vote Delay. A few months later, stand-in host and one-time protege, Chris Hayes, also covered the real fracking story in Mark Ruffalo Talks ‘Fracking’ Tonight.

Last fall, Maddow knocked it outta the park when she interviewed “dogged” ProPublica reporter, Abrahm Lustgarten, who has broken more stories about shale gas drilling impacts than anyone on the planet.
